Dana Hotel was the first hotel in Jordan run by the local community, and was Dana Cooperative’s first tourism venture. It is in the heart of the 15th century, Ottoman village of Dana which is under restoration. Double, triple, quad and family rooms are available with en-suite or shared facilities. All rooms are the restored, village homes of the people of Dana.
As the restoration progresses, more new rooms become available.
All are en-suite, and many have their own little courtyard or terrace.
The rooms in the original part of Dana Hotel were restored some time ago,
and are not at the same standard as the new rooms.
Clean and comfortable, they are popular with guests on a tighter budget.
There are several public areas.
A large Bedouin tent for dining and socialising,
and a second tent for guests who prefer a quieter environment.
and is a great place to sit at sunset.
